Økologisk Cafe Gigant – not just any french fries! When we say that, we mean that ØKO Cafe Gigant french fries are a premium product and our very finest quality. ØKO Café Gigant has been specially developed using a unique production method, created in collaboration between our product developers and a number of leading Danish chefs from the Danish culinary scene, with a focus on both enhancing the flavor and ensuring consistent crispiness and high eating quality every time. ØKO Café Gigant is produced at our factory in West Jutland using select Danish-grown potato varieties. They are thoroughly washed to preserve the skin in an authentic way that meets the requirements for a handmade appearance. These French fries are the perfect size—cut to 15 x 15 mm—and thus hold up well with various dips. Pre-salted, blanched, and deep-fried, ensuring the perfect texture—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. When comparing ØKO Cafe Gigant to conventional Cafe Gigant, you may notice more shorter fries; this is because the organic potatoes are smaller, resulting in more shorter fries, though this may vary depending on the year’s harvest.
